Choosing Cardiff
Cardiff is the perfect stag weekend choice. All the excitement of going somewhere
foreign but without having to pay for flights or change your money; even the language
is similar.
Cardiff is now a stunning modern city that has been so extensively redeveloped that
Tom Jones wouldn’t recognise it from when he was a lad. The bay area is more like
St Tropez than South Wales and all just 2 hours by train from London. So many people
now visit this great capital city that if you’re lucky you are unlikely to meet
even a single Welsh person.
Just a word to the wise when planning dates for your weekend trip, Cardiff is home
to many conferences, concerts and sporting events at the Millennium Stadium and
on these special event weekends hotels all charge a premium rate. If you want to
get the best value, try to avoid the weekend when Tom Jones is playing his farewell
concert.
